Was down at the bank trying to change my name. They required an enrolled deed poll, mine is unenrolled. Not even a driver's license in my now legal name held sway. So I asked to close my accounts, their reply? You can't, all your ID is in the wrong name!
I'd advise not banking with the Halifax.
