I'm running a little late on the next character spotlight for #screenshotsaturday. In the meantime I've been doing some minor updates to things in rpg2k3 for the sake of visual clarity. I'm not updating any charsets however so I apologize in advance for crusty discrepancies like these! #gamedev #OCs

Kyle is a cyan hedgehog with short hair and spines, dressed in light armor. He wears a chainmail under a blue padded front, with blue and gold pauldrons and wrist braces, black gloves and a gold belt. He wears brown pants, black shoes with a blue stripe down the center and gold cuffs. He wields a magic sword known as The Gemblade. There are six gems embedded in the hilt and pommel, each representing a different element.

A screenshot of Kyle Tyris' state in the game. Kyle uses his old design from the late 2000's. His field ability sprites are incomplete, so his sword simply appears before him with no additional animation.

Keela has cyan hair and spines, which are tied up in a ponytail behind her. She has one bang free, curled upwards over her right eye. She wears a long black jacket with red violet outlines over a white undershirt. She wears the same red violet color on her pants and hair tie. She wears blue gloves and blue steel toe knee-high boots with white cuffs and a white strap on her ankles.

A screenshot of Keela in game. She has no ready made sprites, so she appears as a solid blue sprite of Sonic as a placeholder. She fires arrows from a bow as her field ability, but the animation is incomplete so arrows simply spawn in front of her.
