AI is vital for writing when it bridges language barriers. For non-native speakers (like indigenous people using English), AI doesn’t corrupt words; it liberates them. It lets marginalized voices express complex ideas clearly so their stories are heard rather than silenced by elitist fluency.
AI should stay away from writing, should never be allowed to take responsibility and should never provide judgements. Used with care, it can be useful for search, data analysis and data organisation.
