Brian Armstrong @killermonk.bsky.social · 29/11/2023My daughter has a very close friend whose parents both immigrated from India. Daughter thanks us every so often that we don't parent like they do. The friend gets pretty harsh groundings for not hitting straight As or for missing work. 110 1

My kids learned to read well, but hated reading because of school. Now that they're in a different school, they all read voraciously in their free time, and they're happier at home. 010 1
