It’s still insane to me that Tony Khan watched Hangman Page cut a generational promo in Arena Mexico that had fans in literal tears, the president of CMLL tells him “we’re brothers now” and TK thought to himself I gotta get the belt off this mfer ASAP and didn’t book him again in Mexico 🙃

Yes I am aware he wasn't champion at this point it happened a whole 2 weeks later and yet he still got that belt off him real quick, Yes I am aware TK doesn't book CMLL but that hasn't stopped AEW talent from appearing all year, wrestling fans please be normal for like 5 seconds

so you're aware that every aspect of your argument was horseshit. Good to know. Hangman likely didn't appear because *he won the title two weeks after his appearance* thus meaning he was solidly booked for most of the rest of the year.

I'm just honestly a bit confused by the argument, he put the belt on him ASAP after that and kept it on him for 4 months, making sure he was protected when he lost it, and him not appearing on CMLL could be any combo of TK's, CMLL's, and Hangman himself's calls because we don't know that for sure.
