in arrears for #thetenx5 (i sent a list in); my first 4: 50. Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now (2019, UK-Albania-Kosovo) 49. LCD Soundsystem - Dance Yrself Clean (2010, US; non-single) 48. Mahmundi - Eterno Verão (2015, Brazil) 47. Vampire Weekend ft. Danny Brown, Heems, Despot - Step (Remix) (2013, US)

The single cover for Dua Lipa's "Don't Start Now"; in retrospect, kind of outside of the aesthetic of the broader Future Nostalgia era

The album cover for LCD Soundsystem's This is Happening, featuring lead track Dance Yrself Clean. I thought this was such a cool cover as a 13 year old.

The cover art (probably? this was weirdly hard to track down in a verifiable manner as anything other than a coincidentally square-shaped artist photo) for Mahmundi's Eterno Verão.

The cover art for the remix to Vampire Weekend's Step, featuring Danny Brown, Heems, and Despot.

and my next 4 for #thetenx5 (blurbs for all 8 tk later when I don't have to grade 60 undergrad essays): 46. Sophie - BIPP (2013, UK) 45. Miguel - Adorn (2012, US) 44. Charli XCX ft Christine & The Queens - Gone (2019, UK/France) 43. Don Omar & Lucenzo - Danza Kuduro (2010, US [PR]/France-Portugal)

The cover art for BIPP by Sophie. What a beautiful image.

(A) Single cover for Miguel's Adorn. There were two options and this hurt my eyes less.

Cover art for Charli XCX and Christine & The Queen's Gone. Underrated era for charli aesthetically.

The cover art for Don Omar & Lucenzo's Danza Kuduro. Looks like a timeshare ad.
