I know at least two people called the cops and Frederick police did indeed show up. They then promptly did nothing to protect their community. BTW-From what I could see, the insignia on their uniforms just said Frederick Police. (Frederick, MD - September 4, 2026)

Once inside, ICE searched the house and from everything I’ve heard, did not find the individual they were searching for. They did traumatize the family though, including a child. I’ve so far seen no indication that ICE had a judicial warrant. (Frederick, MD - September 4, 2026)

Overall, the siege lasted about 38 hours. Some of the community members who were looking out for their neighbors were on site for more than 24 hours, during which time they got almost no sleep. (Frederick, MD - September 4, 2026)
