aaaand my personal piece for the @deaddoveopzine.bsky.social - some fun and flirty #crocosan dissection! I love the idea of Devil Fruits messing with the anatomy of their users, there's a ton of fun body horror potential, and I def wanna draw more of this concept #captainbobbinsart tw: gore, nudity

a painting of Sanji and Sir Crocodile from One Piece, for the One Piece Dead Dove zine. Crocodile is laid upon a metal workspace within Sanji's kitchen. Croc is nude, with portions of his body removed surgically, yet each incision melts into sand. He is awake and alert, smiling slightly towards Sanji, who is beaming cheerily while holding Crocodiles heart. The background environment of the kitchen features some story telling elements, such as an ashtray with Crocs cigar and Sanjis cigarettes in, a fruit bowl with some of Crocodiles organs in, a bowl in which Crocodile has put his rings for safekeeping, cook books showing the cuts of meat for a cow, and stains of blood. Crocodile himself has lines of blood on him that Sanji has used to mimic the butchery diagram in the book. Crocodile has an erection, and the two of them appear to be in a good mood as Sanji explores Croc. WELCOME TO THE SHITTY RESTAURANT is written in gold at the top of the frame, and the painting has a gold, spiralling border
