There are a lot of better options, including GM's super cruise and Ford's BlueCruise. That said, I agree with @davidzipper.bsky.social: all Level 2 systems require the driver to be vigilant and be ready to take control at a moments notice. That could be tough for seniors with health issues

I would advise your parents to seek out non-car options for their future transportation needs, like rideshare and public transit. That may be expensive and complicated, depending on where they live. But I'm sure there are some Medicare-approved methods.

Giving up driving is extremely tough for seniors, especially in our car dominated society. Just make sure you're considering all your options. and good luck!
