Too high a word count for Bluesky, so screenshot from my other channel.

In a recent experiment a man had nearly half his brain removed. After a recovery period, doctors asked him to count to ten. "One, three, five, seven, nine," he responded

The experiment was later repeated, removing the same quantity of brain, but from the other side. This time, when asked to count to count to ten, the man who'd been operated on said "two, four, six, eight, ten."

Then, in a final test, the scientists removed all of the brain from their subject. Both sides. After the recovery period, they asked him to count to ten. He responded "I can count to ten, I'm the best with numbers, I have the best numbers, the news, they say I can't count, that's wrong, they're wrong, I think, people, when they think about good numbers, I can count, with any numbers, I aced it, all the time, better than China, better than anyone ...
