Greetings from Aberdeen, on the way to Shetland! Posting from the ferry at stupid o'clock, can't wait to get to Lerwick! #travel #Scotland #Shetland

The iron and glass ceiling of the old train station in Aberdeen. The intricate pattern looks like lace.

A signpost with two blue and white arrows. One reads "City Centre/Train Station/Bus Station" and the other reads "Ferry to Northern Isles."

A rusty square iron manhole cover with a dappled pattern and stamps reading "Broads Silent Knight 70C."

A cabin aboard the Shetland ferry HMS Hjaltland. Two bunks with white bedding are on either side of a table beneath a windows looking out onto the North Sea.
