So while looking for ducks and swans and coots and geese in the #OrnamentalCanal in #Wapping (and there were many) I also saw this #fish (and a few friends). It’s about 50cm long and appeared to give no fucks. #Respect. 🐟

A top-down, clear view of a large, torpedo-shaped fish swimming just beneath the surface of murky, greenish-tan freshwater. The fish, likely a grass carp, has a dark grey or olive-brown body with large, highly distinct, cross-hatched scales that form a prominent diamond pattern across its back and sides. It is swimming from the bottom left toward the top right of the frame. The water is relatively calm and translucent, revealing thin, wispy green aquatic weeds growing on the left side of the frame and a sandy, sunlit bottom below.
