A Facebook post from the Alaska DNR - Division of Forestry & Fire Protection shares traveler and public safety alerts related to active wildfires. The post has a dark background with white text and includes several emojis to highlight important information.

It provides warnings about traffic restrictions along the Parks, Elliott, and Glenn Highways due to firefighting operations, suggesting travelers check the Alaska 511 website for real-time road conditions. Safety tips advise the public to register for alerts, prepare go-kits, maintain defensible space, and avoid traveling in affected areas.

A warning against flying drones or unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) near wildfires is highlighted with a caution emoji, explaining that drones interfere with firefighting efforts and endanger personnel.

The post also directs readers to visit the AK Fire Info website for live maps, alerts, and updates. The message closes with hashtags related to the Alaska wildfire situation: #AKfire, #AlaskaWildfires, #InteriorAK, and #StaySafeAK.

The image shows a scenic view of a river winding through a lush, green landscape. The foreground features the river with rough, grayish-blue water flowing past low-lying vegetation on the banks. To the left of the river, there is a grassy area interspersed with small bushes and shrubs. In the background, dense forests of tall, dark evergreen trees are visible, extending towards distant hills. Above the landscape, the sky is mostly cloudy with patches of blue peeking through. A significant column of smoke rises from a fire, extending upwards into the sky, indicating the presence of the Bear Creek Fire in the distance.
