i think my perspective is influenced by the comfort in the idea that a girl as young as her can be robbed of so much of her future and yet still make the most of her life rather than let that weight despair her. probably the main reason why i love her ending w cyril the most

It's a bit of a downer when she doesn't make it, but the bittersweet endings hit in a way that hurts so good. Sure I'd love it if she never died, but sometimes life happens and that's ok.

I adore her ending with Ignatz so much, it just feels right despite making me sad. She was happy, free and loved. He got to meet a goddess and capture her beauty with a brush.
