Hello #AncestryHour, what have you been up to today? I've been at the @scotlandspeople.bsky.social coalface and found a relative who in 1865 died when a theatre wall collapsed. He seems to have been part of a rescue party in this incident: hd.housedivided.dickinson.edu/node/43650

#AncestryHour Finding newspaper articles and reports of incidents like that is always bittersweet. It's good to know what happened to your relative, but one wishes they could have had a better outcome.

#AncestryHour I have nothing so interesting to report! I have been on the phone yelling at one of my email providers for cutting off our email access for three weeks and throwing all our email away while we were cut off. It should be fixed now but it took them 2 1/2 weeks to restore us.
