I admit I am quite difficult to satisfy when it comes to discussions of linguistic relativity. This episode was close, but no. Malotki did not refute Whorf on Hopi time, he refuted a strawman of his own making. Because Whorf did not think Hopi had no concept of time. He just argued it was different.
