it fails miserably. Sometimes because the script it generated was a mess and built around assumptions that are incompatible with our requirements. Sometimes because it modified data in a vague way that ended up causing a goose chase of trying to figure out what happened

Other times it was because a coworker had it generate documentation to “help” me. Under the belief that i didnt understand the code i was reviewing. I did understand it, it had an esoteric downstream impact that the AI did not recognize and did not help with. I was trying to dig into the root cause

And he still had to fight with it bc it was hallucinating stuff and leaving other parts out entirely. All it has done for me is get people to proselytize to me about how amazing the plagiarism machine is and then fail to actually demonstrate it. It stole my work that was on github to train its shit
