Big load out to west of city this morning. Used the new cycleway to Roseburn and then followed Water of Leith path. All smooth which is a help when your Urban Arrow tops 100kg. On way pack we had a look at the Dalry infra. Only let down by the 'non link' to canal.

Nice smooth infra on way from Russell Road to Dundee St (excepting last 300 metres!)

90% traffic free route towards Balgreen. Short sections of shared roads very quiet.

On way back from LB shop we were treated to the Leamington Lift Bridge in action. Locals will know that it was 'recycled' from the Fountainbridge crossing after the canal was shortened in 1930s(?)
