A tiny traveller with a mighty shell This is Hygromia cinctella, the girdled snail. Barely bigger than a fingernail, yet it wanders fearlessly through a vast world. #photography #fotografie #macro #naturfotografie #gooutside #takeawalk

Close-up photo of a very small snail, Hygromia cinctella (girdled snail). The snail has a patterned brownish shell with a pale rim and is moving across a green leaf. Its body glistens with moisture, and fine leaf hairs are visible in the foreground. The background is dark and softly blurred, emphasizing the delicate details of the snail.
