2026-10-04: Cool and overcast with light drizzle made this afternoon perfect to linger on the porch at Cosmic Café. Closed for five years, reopened unchanged a few months ago, it’s been a favorite of mine for at least 33 years now. So glad it’s back: Tetris parking lot, Buddha's Delight, all of it.

A vegetarian menu is open on a small table. "Slow Down, Meditate" is hand-painted on the back of another booth. The wooden porch floor has painted designs also.
