thank you to everyone who has been so kind over the past day. mr pete was the most affectionate cat i’ve ever known and i was lucky i got to be his favorite person since he was 4 weeks old.
@bestieemmie.bsky.socialhad to say bye to my best friend of 11 years today. it came out of nowhere but losing him was the only humane option. i held him the whole time and he knew how much i loved him. i’m so so sad. i had so many plans for our future together and i will miss him forever.
