#13MorbidMondays I figured I would share some snippets, considering both my WIPs have epitaph in them :)

A snippet from Acanthus' POV in Aloe by Artemis Quinn. It says:

"Are you sure about this?" Cypress' steel and storm eyes searched my face, worry etched into them like an epitaph.

A snippet from Such Sweet Sorrow by Artemis Quinn. It says:

My head was whirling as I left Sinclaire and Sinclaire. I ran through the to-do list mentally as I walked back to the rental van. I need to get more death certificates. DMV. The bank. The obituary. The gravestones and the epitaph... it kept growing. I floated in my head through most of the drive, and by noon I was pulling into the long, gated gravel driveway.
