Thank you. You remind me of what America can be but … sadly, instead of doing the hard work the USA, in voting for Trump twice, has chosen a different way. It pains me to say this but the actions of your country speak louder than words. I wish it were not so.

Excellent piece. I remember initially watching the coverage as my wife and I got ready for work and continuing in the Director's Office as we began making the initial plans to deal with possible bioterrorism. A scary and momentous time. However, Trump's destruction of American values feels worse.
