Fast enough for consoles to actually run games off them, rather than being just a medium to install files and act as a physical license. This also saves space on that infinitely expensive internal storage. 120

People have been bulk buying memory for a long time to flex their steam library online and "backlog" They made their decision based on watching that. 100

The last optical disc based platform that actually read the game from the disc while you played was the Wii U. 020
