@barrycarlyon.co.uk do you know if anybody's written up good guides on handling Conduit shard handover during blue/green deploys? Especially curious if you can call "update shards" and assign shard IDs that don't yet exist, THEN call "update conduit" to scale up to use those new IDs

Well you can't assign shards that don't exist yet. But you'd do: (assuming one shard and websockets) Scale up 2 Assign shard 2 (to bring it on line) Disconnect the websocket thats shard 1 Anything trying shard 1 is retried (once) to shard 2 Updated Shard 1 to be the shard 2 socket ID Scale down 1
