Yep it buzzed around 10 years ago. Together with the Cambridge Analytica scandal. British conservatives like Banks and Rees Mogg were accused of having close contacts with the east. (Not supprisingly is the (maybe fictional) fact that this latter (R-M) is shareholder in Yandex)
