Federal officers CBP and ICE officers have always had assignments in the airports. International airports are US Air Borders. Land at any one of them from outside of the US and you go through “Immigration”. These officers don’t pass by TSA. There’s no reasoning for it. They’re federal LEO’s.🤷🏽
