As you head to elections next month, Americans, I want to remind you that Canada doesn't "have healthcare". This is what university (ie 4-year college) students pay in Canada. We also have up to 69 weeks of parental leave after birth. THESE ARE POSSIBLE. We've done them for DECADES. DEMAND MORE.

And when it comes to parental leave (note, not called 'maternity' leave), it can be used by EITHER parent, or even BOTH at the same time. And, yeah, up to 69 weeks combined. It's possibly to have a country that cares for its people and IS STILL ONE OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST ECONOMIES.
