The problem with that shell game, of course, is that the stink of X and xAI is too powerful to hide, especially given the extra scrutiny that public companies are subject to. So this merger has made SpaceX stinky too.
After Musk inevitably rolls Tesla into SpaceX as well, it will get even stinkier.
