There are two kinds of people who "don't do politics":
- people who think their voice doesn't matter (they are wrong)
- people who subscribe to the bandit ideology that they can make themselves immune from politics through power, or through aligning themselves with power
@spavel.bsky.socialPolitics is just the way we make society together. Whenever someone says "I am apolitical" I hear "I am not vested in the shared project of making society" and I have to wonder why.
