The other line AI boosters use - about being left behind or whatever - is very silly in this context. No matter how much "prompt engineering" you do. Using a chatbot as an individual will not save you from being denied a mortgage. "Your AI" can't talk to "their AI" and figure things out mano a mano

It's sort of like when a company has a data breach and then sends out an email with half a sentence of apology and three paragraphs of "tips" on how to keep your password safe. No amount of special characters will save you from a data breach! It's a completely unrelated attack surface!

My campus once got an email informing us that there had been an arrest made for a sexual assault, and there was advice like women shouldn't go outside at night, and stay in a group and avoid strangers. None of which would've helped, since the actual victim was assaulted in a dorm room by a friend.

Now imagine that the company replaced its devs with AI and pushed out some code with security vulnerabilities that make it even easier for someone to steal it. You can't see that just from looking at their home page. You can't use ChatGPT to protect yourself from it. It's just a new systemic risk.
