A lot of people in tech hate on user research and UX design because it is the "what the fuck are you doing" function.
@spavel.bsky.socialHelping people make bad decisions faster produces a worse outcome than allowing those same people to make those same bad decisions at the natural human pace.
Not only because there are fewer bad decisions as a result, but it gives time for someone to come by and ask "what the fuck are you doing"
