Veteran AU - #ghoap thought I'd share a bit more from this 'verse :3 context: Soap's in hospital; his sister has there constantly, and thus Ghost, her best friend, is there too. Elspeth stepped out, so it's the perfect time for Soap to begin his interrogation.

a snippet from ellipsus, pale green text on a deep dark green background

Eyes narrowing, John hasn't yet given up on… whatever this is meant to be. "Yer no good enough for her, ye ken?"

He can't help but laugh, "Like to see you try to tell 'er that." When that doesn't seem to appease John at all, Simon adds, "It's not what you're thinkin mate, we're just friends."

The man snorts dismissively, "Tha's a load o shite."

"S'not though," he shrugs, "Ellie's my best friend- and not just because she's the only person I willingly talk to–"

"Like I'm 'spose te jist believe tha?"

Alright, Simon's had his fun, now this is getting annoying. "She's not my type, understand?"

Apparently not.

"The fuck does tha mean? Ye sayin she's n–"

"MacTavish." The command in his tone shuts John up. All he does is blink at Simon like he's been stunned. "I'm gay, you fuckin dolt."

fluffy scene from my #Ghoap veteran AU Retired! Ghost + his neighbor-slash-bestie Elspeth MacTavish + a new friend ;) [Johnny's not in the picture yet, sorz] Accents are written (kinda), apologies if you hate that fun fact: Simon's the only one who can get away with calling Elspeth 'Ellie' [0/11]
