couldn't decide on what to share for #wipwednesday Homewrecker verse; here's Soap feeling schmoopy have this saved as "Moment before disaster" for reasons :D #ghoap #09ghoap

snippet from Ellipsus, white text on a gradient rainbow background

He finds his lover sitting outside, watching Whisky romp around the yard. The sight actually stops him in his tracks and Soap wishes he had the time or patience to paint this moment. Simon, relaxed on the bench swing with his cuppa in hand and an amused smile playing at his lips. It's been unseasonably warm lately, which is something all three of them can appreciate.

Like this, Simon looks so soft and content. He looks happy.

The idyllic scene is almost enough to make Soap forget his worries.

oh uh. Whisky is Soap's red German Shepherd; she's two years old he didn't want her initially, but she won him over with big floppy ears and a whole lot of personality. (and she wakes him from nightmares, which is several points in her favor; 11/10 excellent snuggles)
