(1/3) - We are a third of the way (more or less) into the 31 Horror Movies in 31 Days Halloween Marathon! Our 10th offering to the Goddess of Horror (I call her Mistress Nightmaria) is A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge. Among fans, this movie is also known as "The gay one."

(2/3) - Once you know that, or if you must go in cold, it's quickly apparent why. Beyond that, Freddy's Revenge is a solid installment in the series. The performances are acceptable (although Robert Rusler, as Grady, is fantastic), the effects are good, and the kills are fun.

(3/3) - It has some really creepy scenes, too. The one with the little springs comes to mind. So, Freddy's Revenge? It's the odd duck of the series, but it's a lot of fun.
