am i crazy? ppl "crying" becuz WoWF has realistic lighting, "it looks how i always imagined it!" ??? WoW looked the way it was intended. Like Sam Didier's artwork. It doesn't need real lighting, it gains nothing from it... that was it's art style. i dont get the obsession w/ realism. the two clash

its hit or miss whether it looks good in a zone or not; looks wonderful in Durotar but kind of ass in the Barres. There's a lack of direction in places like Zephyr where it covers up the textured skybox, as if there's no focus. Something outside the fog is making everyting too dark, like Tirisfal1/4

Vie wof My Hyjal from the newly added area west of Thudner Bluff; I prefer the more saturated look here with the Fog disabled; i like how clear Mt Hyjal is, however, it is a giant flat blue object; where with the fog it gets more a gradient, which I think is better (in this zone specfically)
