Why are the Covid PPP loans forgiven? They should be paid back just like republicans want student loans paid back. Oh, forgot everyone in Congress took that money and don’t want to give anything back.

To be fair, those loans were intentionally meant to be forgiven. Student loans are also meant to intentionally be forgiven, as is indicated by the plans that they have developed. Unfortunately, the new plan would extend people's timeline who have been paying faithfully for about 20 years.
