One of those things that drives me nuts in French is the word "plus" (more)...
As in "je voudrais plus de jambon" which literally translates to "I'd like more ham".
But "plus de jambon avant déjeuner" translates to "NO more ham before breakfast".
Why, my dear francophone friends? WHY???
