JunBun Etc. @junbunetc.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

The electricity rates just went up, so maybe it *is* better this way. 🤔 Maybe our JunBunEtc.com comics output will increase in this new format (probably not, we have to pay our bills sometime 💸). #junbunetc

JunBun Etc. comic 006: Better This Way. Panel 1: MaxCat is reading down a letter, his empty coffee cup on the table. He asks, "by the way... Might you have paid the electricity bill, by any chance?" JunBun next to him, with a neutral face, says "No. Why?" Panel 2: The panel goes dark, with the remnants of light at the very top and an action sound "*click*." Only JunBun and MaxCat's eyes are visible. Panel 3: JunBun's eyes opine, "you know... Not having electricity isn't so bad. It's probably easier to make a comic this way." Panel 4: MaxCat's eyes ask, "what about in the day?" JunBun's dismal, crumpled eyes say, "...goodnight, MaxCat." Turning away, MaxCat's eyes say, "goodnight JunBun."
