Hey #EconSky, 🤔 what's the norm re 2nd referee request from the same journal you agreed to write a report for a few days ago (report pending, within the deadline)? I've just been contacted with the *second* additional request after accepting a review 10 days ago (3 different editors, but still?!)

Some systems show this information, but I’m assuming some don’t since I’ve been in your shoes. If you don’t have time, politely decline. (And suggest another reviewer if you think of one.)

Yes, I always suggest at least two other reviewers (mostly more junior with expertise who might receive fewer requests). It still feels a bit weird to decline, but I try to follow the advice of "The No Club" more often (three reports for one journal within 2 weeks would, anyway, be too much).
