[comic][1271] "Mask of Adira" The real Adira found at last. twokinds.keenspot.com/comic/1271/

1271: Mask of Adira - Twokinds

A webcomic about a clueless hero, a mischievous tigress, an angsty warrior, and a gender-confused wolf.

So, in one hand: we have confirmation Adira is fine and that the process is very likely reversible. But the problem now is that apparently Vanity had a way to remove the mask that apparently Keiren either lacks or doesn't know how, so fused shenanigans until they get Reni's help (maybe even Nora's)

*gasp!* Oh I get it! It starts as a blank mask template! I bet as ceramic or a rune-etched stone mask, and either putting it on someone or detecting it with the mask pulls them in. Then not only does it allow the user to become the taken, but also transforms into their face. Interesting~

upside: You found adira and she's alive...sort of. downside: "Manual not included."

So glad she’s okay, but of course that’s the new problem 😂

This reminds me of the beginning of the Chaos Kin arc in #KidIcarusUprising on the #Nintendo3DS.

Very cool that the mask makes the personalities/memories merge to make the disguise more convincing.

Why do I feel that now Keiren should get off the clothes and let Adira control the body? I don't think anybody would take seriously Keiren in that body.....

This does beg the question, tho. Was panel 2 Kei being influenced by his "role" as Adira, or was she just yelling through him?

UBE Chief @ubechief.bsky.social · 07/11/2025

Looks like @joshofspam.bsky.social was more correct in their guess of Adira being in the mask than I was of her being the mask itself - but it's really a bit of both, no?

I have several questions regarding this. Specifically, in terms of breeding.

So I'm guessing Vanity got Maeve's name wrong because Adira gave her the wrong name.

Is it weird that I'm hoping this eventually leads to the blonde's egg cracking & remaining a snep lady even after Adira gets freed? 🥺🙏🥚🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

One on hand, at least we know she is safe. On the other hand, this is going to be quite awkward and difficult to explain this to Trace, the gang and Reed.
