1254: Maeve and Reed 5 - Going Home - Twokinds

A webcomic about a clueless hero, a mischievous tigress, an angsty warrior, and a gender-confused wolf.

Save her!

The LIGHTING on her face is so well done, it's firm enough to be defined but still soft enough to not over contrast- I've always loved your style and it seems to only be improving, well done!

And back to loving the sometime lynx lady. Still feel bad for the other kids, but one step at a time. Hope this leads to Reed trying to fix things. Til then, just happy the snow cub is safe.

For real, the relief I felt by the end. I knew she wasn't gonna suffer, but GOD DAMN YOU PULLED ME HEART STRINGS HARD, Tom! 🤣

Reed continues to do good. Other guards continue to be jerks

I love how Maeve's tail is peeking out on panel 5.

Oh, thank goodness she's okay. I can't stand seeing Maeve in so much distress.

I just noticed in the bottom left panel you can see one of maeve's paws under reeds cloak

Maeve's face in the last panel is funny

I keep looking at that newspaper and thinking Lina Inverse is that you? I know it's not but love the idea of her causing chaos in another world too XD

I'll admit before that last panel I almost went freaking berserk! >~<; I was crushed and royally pissed. Thank goodness I was wrong about that at least u.u;

000

crimsonhelsing.bsky.social @crimsonhelsing.bsky.social · 05/04/2025

Well, first step towards the right direction at least. Damn, Reed, you had us going there for a second! >~<;

I love that the newspaper have something about dragon Clovis calling him "Reni's boyfriend " 🤣

We now need a shot of Reed with a suspiciously Maeve shaped lump under her cloak walking past the guards that notice, but arn’t paid enough to care.

Reed may very well be one of my favorite characters, just from this page. She knows the risks. She knows the trouble this can bring. She knows how easily it can fall apart. But she's doing it anyway, all to protect a child she barely knows

I KNEW IT! Reed was gonna save Maeve, it was guaranteed from the outset, lmao. Time for Reed to break out the cat toys? :p

I'll admit, I was about ready to go full John Brown in the first half. I'm relieved to see Maeve won't need to go through that horror.

Honestly, screw that guy and all of his peers (what's new, eh?). But hooray for Reed! I'm so so glad that she's going to take care of Maeve. I hope that her mom is ok.
