Finally, what everyone has spent decades waiting to see on screen. It's been building to this! Shang-Chi vs. Gambit! Yelena vs. Mystique! I'll admit to being a bit tired of the cynical key jangling when it was keys it seemed like people wanted to see, but this just feels sad.

Channing Tatum's "Gambit", a joke character from "Deadpool and Wolverine", who has never received his own movie.

Shang-Chi, a character who appeared in a single well-received movie half a decade ago, but whose only subsequent appearances have been in animation.

Yelena, who starred in last year's "Thunderbolts*", a legitimately wonderful recent Marvel movie, but has nothing to do with the X-Men in general or Mystique in particular.

Mystique from the Fox "X-Men" movies, played by an actress who last played the part fifteen years ago, before any of the other three actors here were cast, and who has now been styled to make her "comics accurate", and the resulting design is terrible.

I do hope they're just hiding the ball here, and the resulting film is at least more interesting than what's been shown

I'm pretty sure RDjr has to be the protagonist given he was paid the GDP of a small country. Presumably that means there's some sort of Doom/Iron Man multiverse shenanigans too.
