“Outrageous”🔥 Jordon Steele-John has ripped into legislation for massive cuts to the NDIS & called on Senators to vote for his amendment to give the Disability community time to simply review changes impacting their lives. Penny Allman-Payne also not holding back.💥 #auspol

I worry about the NDIS. It's become too large and unwieldy which makes it not fit for purpose. I also worry that the wrong people will be caught up in the changes. It will require a lot of work from people to get this transition right.Govt must be very careful using automation with human oversight.

Too large as compared to what? We don't even have good stats on the level of disability and much of it is hidden. Case in point, I can no longer work in an office because I need to be able to get to a toilet, a shower and a bed in sometimes comical haste, but I'm not disabled .. apparently.
