When I lived in Maine, I joined By Blood Alone. A gothic progressive metal band. I recently learned that the drummer I replaced, John Hoerner, passed away from cardiac arrest. i only met him twice. He was a registered nurse, and volunteered at a local animal shelter. A good guy. He'll be missed.
