☀️🌙 — suntrip scenarios that could fit Laufey’s Typical of Me EP, a thread🧵: art by @aIliejam on twitter

Laufey’s EP cover for ‘Typical of Me’
It has a large white boarder around a portrait photo of Laufey. Her hair is wavy and just past her shoulders. She rests her head atop her hands and looks down into the distance

Jade Ngô and Summer Dileo art by @aIliejam on twitter. A coffee shop AU. Jade leans on a counter, one arm flat against the towards the counter with the other resting against her upper arm. On that hand are three silver rings and his nails are pained in the asexual flag colours - black, grey, white, and purple. He’s in a long, dark purple top, a black corset that is done up by the front with purple thread, and very dark pants. His hair is long (down towards his mid-back) and very dark brown with two think stripes dyed purple framing his face. She wears a lot of jewellery - a black chocker, two silver chains, one with a cross, a black rope necklace with a silver lock pendant, a silver stud in the right side of his nose (facing the viewer) snake bites, and her right ear is stacked with silver jewellery (10 piercing in total with only one of them being a dark purple). Her makeup is a dark purple and the eye shadow is smudged around the eye. Her lipstick is in the same shade. He’s leaning towards Summer. Summer, the barista in this AU similarly leans towards Jade though is standing more upright - her hip rests against the counter. She is wearing pale blue pants with daisies on them mostly covered by a brown apron. A black spaghetti strap top long sleeved yellow top wrapped around it. Her hair is long, curly and ginger with strips of blonde throughout and she wears minimal make up and jewellery. Subtle yellow eye shadow, a soft pink lip gloss, soft pink-orange nails, a gold conch earring visible in her left ear (faces the audience), a large dangling white and yellow daisy earring, a black rope necklace with a gold key pendant, and a beaded lesbian bracelet. She wears a name badge that reads “Summer” with a black heart next to it. The background is a plain light brown-beige.

— Street by Street 🧱 Summer hating any and all reminders of her home town bc it was full of memories of her ex best friend… Then she meets Jade who teaches her how to love it anyway and reclaim it as her own <3

An open air alleyway between two brick buildings in the middle of the day. Greenery and vines climb up the side of the buildings and build up next to the pathway

Lyrics for Laufey’s ‘Street by Street’:

Step by step, brick by brick
I’m reclaiming what’s mine
This city is way too small
To give away to just one guy

Lyrics for Laufey’s ‘Street by Street’:

It’s like a game of Monopoly
Except I steal back all my property
And leave you on the ground

Lyrics for Laufey’s ‘Street by Street’:

Street by street, breath by breath
From the Back Bay to the sky
I’m taking back my city
I’m taking back my life
I’m taking back my city
