Suntrip: The Goddess Edition by me!!! art by the incredible @bugjuicecntrl.bsky.social

suntrip art by @bugjuicecntrl.bsky.social
Jade is looking at the viewer with a look of mild interest on her face. His head is leaning towards where Summer stands to the left of him. She is in a purple áo daì with pearl and floral detailing. He has his hair out which is brown with purple dye underneath and reaches her chest. She has snake bite piercings, a nose ring septum piercing, a stack of three earring on his right ear that faces the viewer and a large circular earring in the first position that mimics a waxing crescent moon. All his jewellery is silver.
Summer stands slightly behind Jade to his left. She is in a glittery white dress that has puffy shoulders. Her hair is orange and curly and atop her head is a white headband. Close to her ear, the headband has a small cluster of pearls that mimic the ones of Jade’s áo daì. She doesn’t wear much jewellery. All that can be seen is a pair of gold dangly earrings depicting the sun stacked atop two gold spheres. She looks away from the viewer towards the right and wears an expression of disappointment. Behind them both is a dark blue curtain

The album cover of Laufey’s ‘Betwitched: The Goddess Edition’
Laufey looks away from the audience, a look of disappointment on her face. She wears a dark blue goddess-style dress with a white ribbon-like material resting along the low neckline. From what we can see it rests off the shoulders on both sides, white bows rest upon the top of her arms, just below her shoulders and connect to the front white section of her dress. Her hair is pinned back on the right side by a cluster of pearls and it rests in brown waves. Her ears are pierced with what I believe are double stacked pearl earrings though you can only see the right ear where her hair is pinned back. She wears moderately light makeup, noticeably a dusting of white glittery eye shadow, and a kind of dusty pink lipstick i think?

My Melancholic Days Are Few and Far Away (No Boy’s Gonna Kill The Dreamer in Me) archiveofourown.org/works/56042971 Summer and her experience of being a lesbian 🧡🤍🩷 #jrwi #jrwifanart #primedefenders

“When Summer was younger, she used to play a little game. The rules were simple: when your friends all talk about the boys they like, you pick one to like as well, you make up things you like about him–like his eyes, or his smile, or his laugh–and when you tell you friends, you act like the thought of even discussing it makes you flustered and embarrassed. It’s an easy act to put up and Summer Dileo loves acting. So, this little game of Summer’s came to her as easily as breathing. Almost too easily…

Or; Summer after she comes to terms with the fact she’s a lesbian. She begins to feel more comfortable with herself and with her identity - refuses to let any boy try to “fix her”. Summer is complete as she is, and she is happy and comfortable with her identity :)”

You Were My Everything, I Was Your Second Best (Kissed Me With Somebody Else in Mind) archiveofourown.org/works/56168251 Jade Ngô and her feelings of being second best to his own vigilante identity… (sorry… this one’s really fucking sad) #jrwi #jrwifanart #primedefenders

“So, knowing all of this, Jade feels stupid. And even knowing how it ends, Jade thinks he would still fall in love with Summer Dileo all over again. And isn’t that pathetic?

Because the worst thing is, getting from point A to point B—from being so hopelessly adored by Summer to hardly being spared a glance—wasn’t even a short process so the idea Jade would put herself through it all over again should be dismissed without a second thought. And yet…

Or; Jade wonders if Summer only loves her because he’s a vigilante or whether she actually loves Jade for Jade. When Summer kisses Jade is she thinking of Jade Ngô or “Cantrip”? Sometimes she can’t tell if he is placed second best to her own vigilante identity.”
