Krista Weltner @kristaweltner.bsky.social · 22/05/2025Are you even an author/illustrator if you haven't spent way too much time reducing the file size of your dummy for query tracker 🙃 #kidlit #kidlitart 380
John Nez @johnnez.bsky.social · 22/05/2025No kidding. Many agents have zero understanding of file sizes and dummy PDFs. I finally found how to use a reduction size on photoshop to reduce a 12 mgb to under 5 mgb. But some agents think an entire 32 page rough artwork dummy can be reduced to 2 mb. lol! 110
Amy Everson @amyeversonart.bsky.social · 22/05/2025Curious what you ended up doing? I recently had to upload two dummies and spent waaay too much time trying to get the file size down. I ended up using adobes free file reducer but I didn’t like uploading it to an external site. I’ve since updated my website to have my dummies password protected. 110
