Since then, the chair of the EWC has consistently brought up rising health care costs at pretty much every monthly meeting. 100

Birdie, PhD, MA 🦚 @healthywv.bsky.social · 27/02/2026We just held our most recent meeting, and were told the institution had a "catastrophic month" for healthcare claims in Dec. A normal month is apparently $500-600k, and a "normal" catastrophic month is ~$750k. This Dec. was $1.3million. 100
