Popped £10 onto the card reader of an RNLI volunteer at Waterloo station yesterday & had a lovely chat.
Asked him why don't the Government step in to fund them & the likes of the London Air Ambulance - he replied that they prefer to remain completely politically neutral which makes (ironic) sense
